Effective 2026
Summary
VerseMark Meter Desk does not collect personal data. Scansion work, quantity marks, drill results, and My Passages are stored locally on your device. There are no third-party analytics SDKs and no advertising networks in the app.
Data we do not collect
- No account registration or profile server
- No tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or analytics beacons
- No sale or brokerage of personal information
- No remote logging of the verses you enter or the marks you place
What stays on-device
Meter templates, live scansion state, elision choices, rules study progress, corpus hide/reveal attempts, timed drill scores, tagged passages, theme preferences, and large-type exam settings persist in on-device storage (including SwiftData) so the desk works without a network.
Exports & system shares
When you choose to export an annotated PNG or PDF, or use the system share sheet, the file is created at your request and handled by iOS share destinations you select. VerseMark Meter Desk does not upload those handouts to a VerseMark server.
Widgets & Intents
Home Screen widgets and Siri/Spotlight actions such as starting a hexameter drill run from local app data. They do not require a VerseMark network service to display tips or practice lines.
Support email
If you contact us at eyavefema982@gmail.com, we receive only what you include in the message so we can reply. We do not combine support mail with in-app scansion content unless you paste it yourself.
Children & education use
The app is suitable for classics study environments. Because the product does not collect personal data in the app experience, students and teachers can practice meter without creating an online profile inside VerseMark Meter Desk.
Changes
If this charter ever changes in a material way, we will update this page. The on-device character of the workbench—no third-party analytics or ads—remains the design intent.
